The Lincoln Memorial University-Richard A. Gillespie College of Veterinary Medicine (LMU-CVM) awarded 118 Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees to the Class of 2023 at Commencement.

The members of the Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine (LMU-CVM) Class of 2021 celebrated their graduation on Saturday, May 22, 2021. LMU President E. Clayton Hess conferred the degrees of the 120 Doctor of Veterinary Medicine students.

Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) President Clayton Hess conferred 547 degrees -- including 168 associate, 220 baccalaureate, 140 masters, three educational specialist and 16 doctorate -- on candidates that completed the degree requirements at the close of the spring semester on Saturday, May 2. LMU's Spring 2020 semester was completed online due to the global coronavirus pandemic. The University also canceled the spring commencement ceremonies. Degree recipients may choose to participate in a future commencement ceremony for a period up to two years.

Noted Lincoln and Civil War historian Dr. Allen Guelzo delivered the commencement address and received the University's highest honor, the Lincoln Diploma of Honor.
