Gibson Awarded Scholarship From Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine

Cody Gibson of Dryden, Virginia received a scholarship at the Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine (LMU-CVM) Scholarship and Awards Ceremony on Monday, May 2, 2016. A total of $42,200 in scholarships were awarded to 17 veterinary medicine students.

Gibson received the Jim Whitt Annual CVM Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to a first-year veterinary medicine student who is also a Virginia resident.

"We are proud to recognize these veterinary students for their academic excellence, proficiency in research, community service and leadership," LMU-CVM Dean Dr. Glen Hoffsis said. "We hope that through these scholarships our students will be encouraged to continue striving to be leaders in the field of veterinary medicine."
